Hi everyone!

I have designed my own Bluetooth speakers using the TPA3144D2. I just tested it with 2 6W/8 Ohm/ 8kHz Speakers and it sounds great! But I want to improve the sound quality just a bit. I sense the sound is quite acute and I want to make the bass deeper. Is there any advice you can give me to accomplish this goal?

The bass mainly depends on the speaker itself. Or you can also enhance the bass with some I2S input Class D with DSP in it, for example TAS5754/56, they has DBE/DDE in it, we call it dynamic EQ, it will boost more bass when the volume is low, and boost less bass when the volume is high, this can make sure you have a wonderful bass experience without clipping (due to the speaker or PVCC rail). If your speaker is good enough and has a very good low frequency response, you can also choose other I2S input Class D, for example TAS5711/TAS5707, you can use a bass shelf filter which can boost bass directly.
