Dears

customer design a active speaker useing PCM5242+TPA3251, and now customer use I2C BUS 3.3 to link their own design PCBA of PCM5242, but the PPC 2 GUI can't rightly detect and can' t find out PCM5242, so customer can't use the GUI to optimize the audio effect .Anyother customer own PCBA' MCU can write the pcm5242 register, and the PCBA can work. Is there any wrong operation when use EVM ? pls give some guide , and customer is urgent.

This is happening because the GUI looks for an EEPROM that we put on our EVM. If they want to do this and make the GUI works, they need to change the

address of the PCM5242 device on the EVM and then connect the I2C from the EVM test points to their own board.

thanks ,The DVDD of PCM5242 in customer own board is 3.3V, and can't connect to the EVM directly. Using the 'I2C BUS( 3.3V)' connect to customer board , The voltage on the SDA and SCL is lost if we disconnect J5 and J6 on the demo board.
