Hi,

In the TPA3136D2EVM, what is the reason for using electrolytic capacitors for parts C2 and C8? Their

value is 100 uF. If they are replaced by ceramic caps, their sizes will get a lot smaller. Will this be OK?

    Hi Priya,
    We recommend users to use two more than 100uF buck power supply decoupling capacitors for PVCC on the board, usually they are electrolytic capacitors. But some users prefer ceramic caps for them for saving the space on the board, there isn't any probelm too. But please keep in mind that place the capacitors near the device on the PVCC supplies.
