TAS6424L-Q1: TDM8 with format 16 bits and 48K sample rate

Part Number: TAS6424L-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS6424

Hi Sir,

My customer is using TAS6424, and data format is TDM8 with format 16 bits and 48K sample rate.

They want to output the audio on CH1 and CH2.

They have input TDM8 to TAS6424, but there is no output.

below is the register setting they dump, could you help to check if there is anything wrong, Or anything i need to check?

  • Hi Patrick,

The register 0x0f shows channels 0, 1, 3 is load diagnostic status, and from load diagnostic report 0x0C and 0x0D register, it shows there is OL fault.

For channel 2, it is in Hiz status, and fault register 0x011 shows clock fault, that means TDM clock or TDM format is not correct.

I would like you can read the datasheet and find this fault bits, that will makes your work easier.
