Hi,

I am not sure about that error.  Though it might have something to do with your configuration.  Are you trying to supply an external I2S input to the device? If that is the case you have your jumper wires and jumper shunt in the wrong position.  The jumpers should be totally removed, and the external source should be connected to the center post of the I2S bypass headers (JP1-4).

It is possible that you are shorting the I2S outputs of the EVM by connecting them to an external source.
