Hi TI,
we are using TAS5630B connected to a 1:4 audio transformer to make a PA amplifier with 100V output. We are seeing some failures out in the field, but are not able able to trace the reason for it. The TI part is driving the transformer in PBTL mode. When we have a failed part, one ore more of the output pins is shorted to ground. I think we have done all the precaution in respect to saturation of the transformer discussed in this forum.
Would it be possible if anyone at TI could have a look at our schematic diagram?
regards Trond Inge Wang
Hi Trond inge wang,
We would be happy to take a look at the schematic and layout to see if we can find the potential issue. Would you be comfortable posting the schematic and layout on E2E?
Best Regards,
Robert Clifton
Hi Robert,
here is a snapshot of the schematic. The transformer is not included. If we can go offline I can send you the complete .pdf file.
regards Trond Inge
Hello Trond inge wang,
The schematic screenshot you have attached seems a little blurry.
Could you possibly email it to me? carolina@ti.com
All the best,
Carolina
