Hello,

I want to get a output of 5W per speaker, so what voltage level should I set for PLIM?

I'm not sure if the output power stated in the datasheet is for 1 or 2 channels. The Chip is powered with 24V, the output is connected to 2 x 8Ohm Speakers and a gain of 20dB is selected. Vin is 1Vrms.

In addition, I want to ask how you get the values of this table. Is the output Power for 1 or 2 Channels?

I simulated the circuit with TINA-TI and used the formula

But with both methods I can't get the all the values in the table.

I can't see the pictures I added. The table and formula I refer to, are on page 19 of the datasheet under 9.3.4PLIMIT

Hi,

The output peak-to-peak voltage is 4 times the voltage at the PLIMIT pin.

5W @ 8ohm load, the output peak-to-peak voltage is 9V. So you can set the voltage at the PLIMIT pin to 2.25V.

Two channels output power limit are same after setting PLIMT.
