Hi e2e team,
R&D used the USB audio input is OK, but analog input is fail, J4 Pin15&16 is short. please help provide J21 input user guide, thanks!
Hi, Kevin,
Our team will take a look at this thread and will answer as soon as possible.

Hello Kevin,
Thank you for your interest in TAS2564 EVM. Based on what I gathered from Senior Apps, the analog inputs path in not enabled for our TAS256x EVMs in PPC3. Unfortunately, this option is currently not available. One way around it if you need to test for analog input is to implement an ADC and feed into the I2S externally.

Hi Team,
R&D testing TAS2564 EVM output power is 5W, cannot meet datasheet marking 7W, please help provide GUI or PPC3-EVM need modify root cause, thanks!
BTW,TAS2564 measured is 10V
Hello Kevin,
Can you resend the images through images attachment? Also the PPC3 setup you currently have?

Hi Kevin,
This is related to VBAT stability the boost voltage is drooping and thus increasing distortion.
I'm debugging this on the EVM and will let you know how you can modify the hardware and/or device configuration to get the values from data sheet spec.

Hi Kevin,
Just an update, we'll be continue debugging this week, I'll give further comments by the end of the week.

Hi Kevin,
The necessary change in the EVM is to ensure a star connection to VBAT from the boost inductor and VBAT plane/polygon to the device.
Attached you can find some slides with test results. Also following up through email chain.

Hi Kevin,
Since you're using USB audio source, have you make sure the audio setting for the EVM connection is set to 100%?
From the plot it does not seem to be a boost or supply limitation, but low input volume.
If you change the amplifier level, do you see the output amplitude changing as well?
