Hi Gust,

The digital I2S output is considered "line out", so it is not controlled by the main volume registers. You can implement a customer process flow to adjust the volume if you wish.

Hi Paul,

After user verification, they can control the volume of I2S output through page0, R61, R62, and also control the volume of DAC analog output. Users have the following questions

1.Is it possible to control the volume of SDOUT in Mini DSP process flow?

2.In the figure, int8xOutROM_1 refers to the analog output? Can I add a volume bar in front of D_I2S_Out_1 to control it separately?

3.How to integrate flow in GDE into PurePath console?

Hi Gust,

You can use multiple volume control components in a single flow. This would set the "baseline" value. For example, you could set the line-out volume to be -3dB, and the analog output to be -6dB. Now if you write -6dB to page0, R61 and R62 registers, the line out volume would be -9dB and the analog output volume would be -12dB.
