Hi,

The description for the dynamic range enhancer(DRE) is mentioned on page 26 of PCM1840 data sheet. I am interested in the difference in sound quality and performance when DRE is enabled and disabled.
So, could you please share the detailed information(e.g. : application note) for DRE architecture with me?

Hello Kato,

We have an application note about the DRE scheme implemented in the TLV320ADC5140 devices which is the same engine that runs in the PCM1840. Please take a look and let us know if you have additional questions.
