SRC4392EVM-PDK: SRC4392EVM-PDK software setting

Part Number: SRC4392EVM-PDK

Hello team,

My customer would like to set up GUI software for SRC4392EVM-PDK on his Windows7 PC. However there are no CD in the box of  SRC4392EVM-PDK.
He saw other E2E threads and installed TLV320AIC310xEVM-K GUI (SLAC249.zip) and USB-MODEVM_vista&7.inf for Win7 driver.
Then he connected SRC4392EVM with USB port in Win7 PC. After that I saw USB-AudioEVM, (not USB-MODEVM) at sound ,video and game controller in the device manager in PC.

Is this correct setting to evaluate SRC4392EVM-PDK?  If yes, can I evaluate SRC4392EVM-PDK with command line interface" tab of TLV320AIC310xEVM-K GUI?

Would you please advise?

Best Regards,

  • Hi Tamazaki-san,

Please try and use this setting to do some I2C read of registers and make sure you are able to read the correct default values or status registers. If you are not, first I would double check your hardware configuration and if it does not work then you may want to update the firmware of the board and use PPC3 I2C master app to issue I2C commands.

Please refer to this thread from Steve Wilson that discusses this solution a bit more:

I'm also reattaching the firmware as I had trouble downloading it from the thread!
