TAS5720A-Q1: What type of problem cause clock error on Fault Configuration and Error Status Register

Part Number: TAS5720A-Q1

In my application, there is a requirement from my client which is declared as "the device shall notify the system when no loudspeakers are installed."

To handle this requirement in hardware, I though there should be external circuitry to detect this somehow,

but I encountered a thing many times which is when I disassembled loudspeaker from system,  Fault Configuration and Error Status Register notifies the system by setting clock error bit in this register.

At this point, May I use this feature to detect dissambling loudspeaker ?

Are there anything else also that triggers this bit such as I2S clock latency or missthicks etc.

If there is, this will not a robust solution. In this case, what is the best, easy to implement way to detect whether loudspeakers plugged in or not ?
