Is there an I2C timout period for the serial interface on CDCI6214?  

I don't see any timeout parameter in table 6.22 of the device data sheet.

    Hi Steve,

    As far as I know, there's no bus timeout feature on CDCI6214 I2C. The I2C interface closely followed the one used in the CDCM6208, so there may be additional parameters listed there that are relevant, but as far as I know that device also doesn't have any I2C timeout.
