Hi TI,
We are using CDCM6208V1 in our design, without host. So we want to configure it with PinMode 29-V1, we didn't find any information on how to configure CDCM to a particular mode i.e. what to do with PIN [4:0]. Can you please guide us ASAP ?

Hi NOEL,
Thanks for your prompt response.
Can you guide me how to implement 0x1C in PIN[4:0] ?
I have one more doubt to resolved :
-> As per the datasheet for PinMode 29-V1
fin(PRIMARY_REF) is 10Mhz CMOS type and
fin(SECONDARY_REF) is 10 Mhz CRYSTAL.
REF_SEL is AUTO.
My QUESTION is
Is it mandatory to provide both PRIMARY_REF and SECONDARY_REF when the REF_SEL is AUTO ?
If not how to configure CDCM for one REF and how to terminate the unused one ?
Hi Venkata,
0x1C = 1 1100, so tie PIN[4:0] according to this pattern.
Since REF_SEL is Auto, you can put your 10MHz reference to either input. Primary input has priority so you may want to put the reference clock over there. The secondary input pins can be shunt to ground via capacitors.
