Can the LMK05318 accept a sine wave input to the PRIREF or SECREF?

Hello Damian,

It can use a sine wave input provided it meets the input slew rate requirement. This means low frequency low amplitude sine waves will not be valid inputs.

Hi Damian,

You wouldn't have any issue with 100 MHz sine. At the minimum input swing of 1 Vpp.

1 Vpp sine wave has a slew rate of 0.293 V/ns 20% to 80%, a bit higher at the 0-crossing, 0.314 V/ns This is > than minimum of 0.2 V/ns
2 Vpp sine wave has a slew rate of 0.586 V/ns 20% to 80%, 0-crossing of 0.628 V/ns. This is > than typical of 0.5 V/ns
