Hi,

LMK04832 is out of stock. thus we looked into LMK04821, 4826, 4828. We were recommended to 4828/26 due to pin compability.

While TI clock design tool doesn't gave LMK04828/26 as a solution, under our input and output freq. LMK04821 was only recommended.

1. Will LMK04821 fully compatable to LMK04832

2. Will LMK04826 support our input and output requirements. why it was not reocmmended? VCXO range?

Input: 100Mhz, output 160M, 40M, 10MHz, plus other JESD204B SYSREF/SYNC

Hi Xiaochen,
Here are the VCO ranges between different LMK0482x parts which explains why certain ICs are usable for your use case.

Please note the solution you attached for LMK04821 requires use of an external VCO to generate 160 MHz output.

LMK04832 only uses internal VCO:

To answer your question directly, yes LMK04821 & LMK04832 are pin-to-pin compatible.

The reason LMK04826 is due to the VCO1 range - 2560 MHz is not covered.
