LMX2582: 2 distinct output frequencies

Hi,

With LMX2582, we want to get two different output frequencies.

1st output frequency: 28.125MHz to 1800MHz

2nd output frequency: 100MHz

The input oscillator to PLL is 100MHz

With TiCS PRO, I am not sure how to set this up. Can you pls assist?

Hi Nandini,

This is not possible with LMX2582, both outputs share the same divider, if outputA is 1.8GHz, outputB can only be either VCO frequency or 1.8GHz.

You can use a clock buffer, such as LMK1C1102, to fanout two 100MHz copies. One of the outputs is used as the reference clock to LMX2582.
