Customer is adopting LMX2571 as their current solution for DMR walkie talkie.

They're also surveying new solution for next gen, as the title said, can lmk05318 supporting FM and 4FSK modulation?

If not, can you give some selection guide for it ?

Looks like I never hit "reply" last week:

The LMK05318B does not support the FM and 4FSK modulation.

Would CD74HC4046A work?

We recommend the LMX2571 for FM and FSK modulation, see this app note: www.ti.com/.../snaa309.pdf.

Customer is using LMX2571 as their current solution. And they are looking for new solution for their next gen platform. So 05318B can not support FM and 4FSK, and u recommend CD74HC4046A? Look like it's an old device. Do we have any newer device that can support FM and 4FSK?

Correct, the LMK05318B cannot support the FM and 4FSK.
Can you please elaborate what the LMX2571 is missing that they want to use another solution?

For synthesizer, you know we have LMX2571 and LMX2572.

Our team does not have specific products to support FM and FSK operation, you may check with the wireless connectivity team to see if they have any suggestions.
