It is not clear why the datasheet specifies the inductor should be operated such that the frequency is far from the inductor SRF.

At/around SRF, the inductor is very high impedance, is that not what we exactly want for the pull up?

    Hi Steven,

    The inductor SRF should be close to the operation frequency, i.e. high impedance at the frequency of interest. Since the output impedance of the RF output buffer is not 50Ω, datasheet suggests use a pad to make it 50Ω.
