LMC555: If LMC555CN/NOPB could be bom to bom with NE555P

Could you pls help double check if LMC555CN/NOPB could be bom to bom with NE555P (pin to pin and the external circuits are the same)? Thanks!

Hello again, Skylar,

The pins and functions are the same, however the drive strength and VCC range varies. Both have a PDIP option.

See the VOH and VOL specifications in the data sheets. Do you have a specific supply voltage and load in mind?

The supply voltage is 3.3V and I am not sure the load.

Skylar,

This makes my job much easier. NE doesn't run on 3.3V so LMC55 is clearly better output drive. NE555 is disqualified.

LMC555 3.3V results will be between 1.5V and 5V EC table results.
