I am trying to understand the behavior of the circuit for LVPECL1600 - both DC and AC coupled
LVPECL1600: The LMK04832 datasheet VOD (DC measurement term = 50 Ohms to VCC-2V (1.3V)) specifies the VOD to be 800mV ( VOD-Peak-peak = 1600mV)
However, when I simulated in Hyperlynx using the provided IBIS model, I see VOD-Peak-Peak = 1.76V
LVPECL1600: The LMK04832 datasheet VOD (Em = 120 Ω to ground Termination = AC coupled 100 Ω) specifies the VOD to be a range ( 760mV for 250MHz ; ~510mV for 2.5GHz and ~370mV for 3.2GHz)
The VOD peak-Peak would be double that.
I am generating a 1611.32828236 MHz clock and expect the VODPeak-Peak to be between 1.5V and 1.02V ( from the datasheet)
However, I am seeing a VOD of 1.72V at the driver (LMK) and 1.63V at the load resistor.
I wold have expected this to be less than 1.6VOD peak-peak?
