TLC555: PCN Problems

hi team,

my customer found that they have received TLC555 with 3 different types of structure.

Actually they have received only 1 PCN change this May and then the devices they received in this August is also different

So i want to know whether it is another PCN change of this device? Do we have any spec difference in devices without PCN notification? thanks!

Hello Zoey,

PCN 20211123004.0 is a symbolization change. No performance change

PCN 20231130002.1 is a design and process change. Yes, performance change and data sheet change

See data sheet section: "Changes from Revision I (July 2019) to Revision J (November 2023) "

u mean that the change happened in this year is just the PCN in 2021 & 2023 right? thanks!

Zoey,

There is a delay between PCN announcement and implementing then distribution.

I believe 2023 PCN made it to distribution this year. The 2021 PCN was in population earlier.

Clock & timing forum
