Hello,
I am a student who is attempting to use the DM74123 as a pulse stretcher for a cosmic ray muon experiment. The input signal I wish to feed in is from an LM360n High Speed Differential Comparator. I wish to configure the MMV such that I have an output pulse of roughly 1microsecond. I looked at the datasheet and determined a capacitor-resistor pair that would accomplish this, but I am having trouble figuring out how to properly configure the external circuit components to the specific pins relative to the +5V supply voltage. Do I need an extra capacitor going from the supply voltage pin to ground? By the way, I am using the "1" pins and using "B" as my input pin.
Thank you.
