LMK04828: codeLoader crashes when part is selected

I'm having problems with codeloader4, which chashes with "run-time error '6': overflow" when the part is selected. Any way to fix this? Other parts seem to load fine, and i don't have anything connected over USB or LPT. I'm running Win10.

Hi Larsen
Please uninstall Codeloader4 and delete this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\CodeLoader 4\
Then install the Codeloader4 again. That should fix the issue.
I would also recommend to use TICSpro software instead of Codeloader. This is our new software and is much more user friendly.

Hello Puneet,

I have an LMK03318EVM and I have the same problem.

The suggested work around (uninstall/install) doesn't work on my computer (Windows 7 64bit). And the LMK03318EVM isn't supported by the TICSpro software.

Have you also deleted the folder?
Please uninstall Codeloader4 and delete this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\CodeLoader 4\
Then install the Codeloader4 again.

Hi Puneet,

Thank You for Your quick response.

After the deinstallation of the CodeLoader 4 by Windows (Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Uninstall) the folder didn't exist any more.

Hello Bernd,

do you happen to have Win10 running in a non-English environment? Is your decimal separator a comma?

If yes, then please find some guidance how to patch the device yourself as I cannot freely post software online.
