Hi,

Customer has  some question for LMK05028 in 5G application, can you give some comments?

1. what's the mean for Market Segment? what should we select for 5G applicaiton?

2. For local clock TCXO_IN, can we use OCXO?

Is there any speical requimrent for pcb trace length?  is 20000mil length okay?

    Here are some general guidelines:

    • SyncE/SONET: Cycle slip avoidance is enabled, and phase cancellation is enabled.
    • Wireless/BTS, allows higher TDC rates for improved close in phase noise.
    • OTN/Jitter Atten: No phase cancellation.

    Yes

    Yes, just be sure to have good signal integrity.  For example if you are using a CMOS output, but sure the output has the proper source termination, otherwise enable the integrated 50 ohm termination to provide load termination.
