We were using TIs PLLatinum tool to simulate Phase Noise. But Oscillator PN when we are entering its giving out some saying 1/F^3 Noise unable to assume i have attached screenshot of same
whats the approximation its doing? how to rectify it?

Hi Madiwalesh,
I suggest you use "Load Data" instead of "Use Metrics".
If you know the phase noise of the reference clock, create a .txt file in the following format. The left column is the offset frequency in Hz. The right column is the phase noise in dBc/Hz.
10 -70
100 -90
1000 -110
10000 -130
There is no limitation on the number of frequency offset or its resolution, you can create something like below.
10 -70
20 -72
30 -74
...........
When you click the "Load Data" button, select the .txt file that you have created.
