LM555: LM555 reset pulse generator

Looking to generate the a shorter output pulse based on the falling edge trigger .

Can I achieve this with the LM555 and an inverter gate ? how do I control the timing on the LM555.? Appreciate the guidance.

What are the available supply voltages?

Is LM555 a lock, or can be NE555 or TLC555 or LMC555 be used?

Ron,

3.3V is available , 2.5V could be made available. Any IC is fair for recommendation. Just the implementation is critical.

Would be great if you have a particular circuit implementation recommendation.

Ravikiran,

Here is a TLC555 solution. Output inverter can be replaced with a logic translator. The output stage may need to be modified based on the output load.

TLC555 L-L 560us.TSC

This could also be done with a SN74AHC123A , start a new thread with that part number if interested.

For a 3.3V supply just change R4 to 12.1k to get the same trigger low input.
