LMK05318EVM: How to generate 200.704MHz

Hi team,

Customer is evaluating LMK05318EVM and they want to make the IC output 200.704MHz for each channel.

The OCXO input is 10MHz.

Could you support this to generate the required frequency output?

    Since 200.704 is not an integer multiple of the BAW (2.5e9), APLL2 has to be used. This can simply be done through the TICSpro to generate the configuration. I've placed the screen capture below. 

    What exactly is the 10 MHz OCXO connected to? The EVM comes with a 48 MHz XO for the XO input and the reference input for DPLL to be provided into primary / secondary input. Is that where the 10 MHz OCXO is connected? 

    Please note DPLL is only used with BAW (VCO1) and that APLL2 does not use the DPLL.

    What clock input is used in the picture you showed?

    Customer needs to use external 10MHz OCXO due to their system restriction.

    10MHz OCXO is connected to XO_P pin like the below configuration. And they tried with the attached register settings but they couldn't get 200.704MHz.

    Could you please tell the register settings so that they can get 200.704MHz at their configuration?

    What frequency do they get at the output? What does the status readback shows? From the text file it shows an LOL_PLL2, which if true obviously the output would not work. 

    Did they update field 2, before they started a runscript? 

    Does the EVM work with onboard XO and EEPROM on power up?
