Team,

From reading the documentation , registers reset to their default values upon power-on. So is OSCout clock a buffered copy of OSCin?, If so, is there a need to set OSCin_FREQ? Will setting the proper range change OSCout?
If I were to reset the chip either by asserting the RESET pin or writing to address 0x000. Would this kill OSCout clock?

Hello Go,

There are a couple registers that set the frequency and format of OSCout. OSCout can take either the frequency of OSCin or the frequency of the input to the Feedback MUX. Additionally, OSCout can be powered down or certain output format can be selected (LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS). There is no need to set the OSCin_FREQ, however register 0x138 must be set as per the application.

The POR default sets OSCout to Buffered OSCin and format to LVPECL.
