ADC3224EVM: ADC3224 Low Pass Filter

Part Number: ADC3224EVM

Hi Team,

We would like to ask your help regarding the customer's inquiry below.

Sometime ago, I have ordered ADC3224EVM from TI to make some demo applications for Analog-to-Digital conversion. Last week, I have received the product but I noticed that the differential amplifier (THS4541) on the back side of the board and the passive components around it were not populated. It is not a big-deal, because I will use another differential amplifier but I want to filter my differential signal before entering the ADC3224. Therefore, I want to populate the low-pass filter at the entrance of ADC3224 myself. An example filter design is given in your schematic (on page 4 at the attachment) for 40 MHz cut-off frequency. I want to create and try different filters with different cut-off frequencies. However, I do not know how can I calculate the cut-off frequency of the filter according to your filter design. Could you provide me a formula or method, etc. to calculate the cut-off frequency according to the populated resistor, capacitor and inductor values?
