I have a question regarding the triggering options of HSDC pro. I am using a TSW14J56EVM in combination with an AFE58JD48EVM. This working perfectly. Even receiving external triggers from other machines or signal generators on the TSW14J56EVM is working perfectly. However ideally I want the RAM to be filled a certain number of samples and then continue when it receives another trigger. A slow time trigger signal in the order of kHz in comparison to the sample rate of 120MHz of the ADC.
The software seems to support this with the functionality Auto Re-Arm trigger. And then a number of triggers for which to do this. As seen in the picture below. I have tried this with the number set to 5.
However when I click on the show trigger status button I see this screen
This all seems perfectly fine but the device itself does not want to trigger. And the number of triggers occured number does not change. With the same settings used on the machines to trigger the TSW14J56EVM previously. I also could find anything in the user manual of the TSW14J56EVM or the HSDC Pro software on this feature. Is this new? And is it fully functional? It would really benefit the research I'm currently working on in terms of synchronization.
