TX7516: SCLK & SDATA can be shorted together?

HI,

We're designing ultrasound recently, Tx7516 is our selection of TX part.

But FPGA pin assign is not enough for Tx7516, so we try to reduce Tx7516 pin connect to FPGA,

In spec, Tx7516 control signal doesn't motion SCLK & SDATA can be shorted together,

We wonder Tx7516 SCLK & SDATA pin can be shorted in real application?
