DAC128S085: Can DAC128S085 be used as a drop-in replacement for DAC108S085?

A quick look at the datasheets suggests the 12 bit device would drop in to a design for the 10 bit device.

Can you confirm this is the case?

Hi Adrian,

Yes, they are pin compatible and the 12-bit can drop in for the 10-bit. The write sequences will remain the same. If your code is writing the last two data bits as zero, then the 12-bit device will behave as a 10-bit device.
