DAC7578: How I can find DAC7578 Circuit in Analog Engineer's calculator?

Part Number: DAC7578

I am trying to calculate the output Voltage range for input voltage range of 0 to 3.3V using DAC 7578 where Vref =3.3V and AVdd = 3.3V. Is their any formula that I can use to calculate the range? or can I use Analog engineer's calculator to find the values? Although I couldn't find DAC option in the Analog calculator.

Thanks

  • Hi Tanveer,

The DAC7578 is a 12-bit DAC. The equation for VOUT is (DIN/2^n)*VREFIN, where n is the resolution of the DAC, 12, and DIN is the decimal equivalent of the code loaded into the DAC register. The max code is (2^n-)1, where n is 12 and the min code is 0. This means the range will be 0V to 3.299V.
