Hi Team,
Could you help me check does ADS1292 support PPG? Please share the discrete or integrated ECG+PPG solution for my customer's smart bracelet project. Thanks

Hailiang

Hi,
May I ask what does PPG mean and stand for?
May I also get the name of your customer or is this for generic customer?
Do they have/use ADS1292 Evaluation Kit(board) EVM?
Thanks
Hi ChienChun,
Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a popular optical technique used in heart rate monitors (HRM) and peripheral capillary oxygen saturation (SpO2) measurements.
It is for BYD. They are doing device selection and don't have a development kit yet.

Hi Hailiang,
I cover photometry (PPG/SpO2) AFEs , so I can help.
The ADS1292 does not support PPG, it only does ECG.
If BYD wants their bracelet to do ECG and PPG, I would recommend the AFE4960P since it can do two channels of ECG and support bioimpedance measurements, like the ADS1292, but with a 4LED and 4PD-capable PPG signal chain: https://www.ti.com/product/AFE4960P
If BYD does not want ECG functionality, I would recommend the AFE4410: https://www.ti.com/product/AFE4410
AFE4410 is under NDA so we would need BYD to sign an NDA first. I can help you with that-- just email me.
Kind regards,
