AFE4403EVM: GUI Macro Recording issue

Hello,

I am using AFE4403 EVM GUI, My GUI is working fine but when I try to launch the Macro window from the script option at the left upper corner of GUI interface it gives me this error. Moreover, Start and stop Macro recording options are visible/Enable.

I have also enable enabled .Net Frame work 3.5.

Hi,

May I ask what might be the Windows OS version of the computer?

Would you please try uninstall and reinstall the GUI by following the instruction in user guide?

Hello,

This issue could be because of the below items

The required version of python might not be installed
The GUI was launched for the first time and was initializing the Python variables
Notifier timeout error 5000 occurs
1. User might have installed 32bit Python v2.7 over 64bit Python v2.7.
2. How the GUI works is that it checks for the system registry for 32bit Python v2.7 on initialization and uses this information to invoke the Python script upon calling(Clicking "Launch Script" Button in GUI.
3. The system registry will not get updated when 32bit Python is installed over 64bit Python hence preventing the GUI from launching Python macro.

Please try the below methods and try relaunching the Python Macro

Install 32bit Python v2.7
Restart the GUI
Completely uninstall the 32bit Python v2.7 and 64bit Python v2.7 and reinstall 32bit Python v2.7. (64bit Python v2.7 could still be installed in the PC in a different directory not C:\Python27)

I am using Window 10 pro.

Moreover, I tried those both methods several times but the issue remains the same.

64bit python is not installed on my system. and that 32bit python is also automatically insatlled with AFE4403EVM GUI software downloaded from TI website.
