DAC53701: Asking for DAC53701 output suggestions

Part Number: DAC53701

Hi Team,

Customer would like to design DAC53701.

Is DAC53701 able to output 1.1V w/o I2C control at the beginning?
Would you please help review  and provide your comments?

if DAC53701 is not able to do this, do you have othe recommendation?

Thanks for help!

  • Hi SHH,

Yes. The DAC53701 has programable non-volatile memory that can be configured to output 1.1V on start up. This configuration needs to be programmed once by setting the DAC-DATA register to output 1.1V, powering up the output in the GENERAL-COFG register, setting any other required registers (based on what features they might be using), and then setting the NVM-PROG bit to '1' in the TRIGGER register.

On the next power up the output will go to 1.1V without the need for I2C control.

    Best,

    Katlynne Jones
