AMC1304M25: TIEVM-HV-1PH-DCAC excel file content does not understand

Hi team,

One of our customers does not understand the content in the Excel file below, could you please help explain this?

In Vbus, the Reffective is a parallel between Rh and Rdiff, which is not understood here.

And why is Rdiff 12.5k? I see in the AMC1304X25 datasheet that the RID is 25kΩ.Does the RID in the datasheet refer to Rdiff? If not, why is Rdiff 12.5KΩ, could you please help explain？

Hi Amy,

Can you please ask the customer where they got this excel file? I'm not familiar with it - perhaps someone on the SEM team produced it?

What is the customer trying to do? I'd be happy to help them design their circuit or assist with device selection.

Hi Amy,

This is a SEM team design - I'm not sure why 12.5k was used. I'll move this thread to their forum for them to comment.

Dear all,

I have received the feedback from PL and they mention me that the internal resistance for this component is 25 kOHm. I think you should redo all the calculation with this new value.
