Hi,

 We are having a   Setup  as ADS1298 EVM kit + ECG Sim + (EVM software) PC.

We are able to see the ECG input signal in the UI that we provide from the Simulator , but when we change the gain parameter ( either individually or globally ) the gain seems not to get reflected in the signal we observe in the UI. Basically the signal does not change for whatever gain parameter is set.

Can you please help us out what would the possible reason for it?

    Hi,

    The real/true signal amplitude shouldn't change, right?

    When one is changing the gain of the amplifier, like, one turns up the microphone or speaker volume when a person speaks into a microphone, but by turning up microphone or speaker, the "true/real" voice coming out from that person's mouth doesn't adjust/rise by the microphone or speakers' volume adjustment.
