Part Number: ADC08100EVM
Hello, I'm planning is to use both TMS320F28374DPTPT and ADC08100CIMTCX.
It is my first time using the ADC08100. May I ask some questions.
Q) The ADC08100 datasheet says:
Although the ADC08100 is tested and its performance is ensured with a 100 MHz clock, it typically will function well with clock frequencies from 20 MHz to 125 MHz.
If FCLK = 125MHz, does this mean VIN will be sampled at 125MHz, just like "Figure 1. ADC08100 Timing Diagram"?
I was confused because the datasheet also said: Maximum Sampling Frequency 100 Msps.
The VIN signal will be a signal with 32.1 MHz max frequency.
Q) TMS320F28374DPTPT can use HRPWM where max f_HRPWM is 100MHz.
So I think I can create a 100MHz PWM square wave signals from the TMS320.
Can I use this to supply the 100MHz clock to the ADC08100?
