ADS8688: ADS8688IDBTR

Part Number: ADS8688

During the test, the power supply is reset repeatedly[图片]

  • Please help to confirm the cause of this

  • Hi there,

You have not provided enough information about your setup with the ADS8688 to determine what the issue might be.   What does the scope capture represent?  Where was the signal probed?  What does your schematic look like?

  • ADS8688 data conversion error

ADS8688 When I use ADS8688, the normal condition can correctly read register values and AD conversion data.

However, a certain probability may occur after the AD is powered on: The converted data collected by the AD maintains an error regardless of whether the AD is in automatic scanning mode or manual mode. In addition, the data in each of the eight channels reads the same value. At this time ADS8688 program configuration register can write correctly, read (SPI communication should be no problem).

1, to the ADS8688 5V (CPU power) power again to solve the problem. 2. If the CPU is powered on and off again but the ADS8688 is powered on continuously, the fault cannot be removed.

May I ask whether there is something wrong with the internal of ADS8688, the chip does not work normally, (The configuration register can work, and the data acquisition and conversion part does not work normally

  • What is the original picture you sent?  Is that the AVDD power, or is that 'something else', like SDO perhaps?  Are you cycling power to the ADC while driving the SPI control pins?  Can we start over with a view of your schematic and a screen capture of the SDI, SDO, /CS and SCLK pins with your O'Scope or a logic analyzer?

  • Cyclic power supply

  • Please help to confirm this problem

  • If the output conversion are 'stuck', always providing the same results for all channels, you are in a quazi-reset state.  You either did not get a proper power-on reset or you have applied voltages to the inputs or control lines before VDD was applied.  Without more detail from you, there is not much I can do to help.
