Hi TI,

Refer to this video, it seems TI SerDes can convert to different video format from input to output. Is it correct?

Is it possible to transfer Serializer TX with RGB888 input to Deserializer RX with MIPI output?

Thanks,

Eric

  • Hi Eric,

Yes, that is correct. There are a variety of serializers and deserializers that may suit your needs.

    For ADAS purposes, you can use the following: DS90UR910-Q1, DS90UB638-Q1, DS90UB662-Q1, DS90UB962-Q1, DS90UB960-Q1, DS90UB936-Q1, DS90UB954-Q1, and DS90UB964Q1.

For infotainment purposes, you can use the following: DS90UB940N-Q1, DS90UH940N-Q1, DS90UB940-Q1, and DS90UH940-Q1.

  • Hi Nikolas,

    Thanks for prompt reply.

Currectly we are using DS90UB926Q for Deserializer, please suggest Serializer part number with LVDS input of below application.

    Thanks,

    Eric

  • Hi Eric,

The DS90UB926-Q1 can be paired with the DS90UB927-Q1. The DS90UB927-Q1 is capable of taking in a LVDS input and the DS90UB926-Q1 can produce a RGB output via LVCMOS.

    Best,

    Nikolas
