Hello,

I am working on the PCB design of ADS1298. I got almost all prominent data of layout design guidelines in the datasheet but the value of impedance for Differential analog positive and negative input signal is not given. Please guide me at which impedance (like 90 or 100 ohm) I should route Differential analog positive and negative input signal and maximum allowable trace length also.

Hello Nisha,

The recommendation for differential routing is to keep the traces width and length matched. The Width and Spacing of the Diff Pair Traces must be consistent throughout.

You can design to your own odd-mode impedance target.

thank you for your support . You mean that I can route differential analog input signals at any impedance but the space and length should be consistent
