Hello,

I am following the SLOU429A guide to acquire data with the AFE5816 connected to the TSW1400. I've successfully followed all steps until section 4.2, but arriving in step 9 page 11 (The AFE5816 EVM GUI (HMC-DAQ) opens automatically at this time. Wait until this is finished to continue. If any errors arise at this time, consult a TI engineer.) the following error appers on the HMC-DAQ GUI:

Error - 23083 occurred at an unidentified location

Possible reason(s):

Analysis: Bracket problem at the end.

I've already changed the language and region of my PC to English (US), but it did not resolve the issue.

Could you help me solving this error?

Hi Andrea,

I checked our troubleshoot document and found below:

So this also says to change the language which you have already tried. Can you try it running in admin mode?

Hi Andrea,

I dont have further ideas. This software was developed by the third party and support from them is very minimal. I will try to contact them and will get back to you with possible solution after hearing from them.

I believe the error is linked to the LabView component of the program. I'm using the computer of my institution and even though I change the user language, I cannot change the whole system's language, which leads to an automatic French LabView installation, instead of an English one...

I was not able to figure out a solution for this.

I see. By any chance do you have any personal or friend laptop with english language only? We can install there and check. Resolving other may take longer time.
