Hello,
I am having trouble reading proper data from the ADS8166. We have configured the module with the following:
- External 5 V reference.
- Deactivated the internal reference, refby2 and buffer.
- We are outputting the data + channel ID.
- Channels are configured as single ended and only using channels 0,1,2,3.
- We are reading the data in auto sequence mode.
The intention is to use gas sensors as inputs but for testing purposes we are applying a constant 3.3 V in channel 0. Somehow the measuring for channel 0 is affecting the other channels:
I believe it has something to do with the filters both for input and the buffer in our schematics:
NOTE: we have left refby2 floating and already have modified C12 value from 1 uF to 1.2 nF.
We would like to know what could we be doing wrong or some guidence on how to solve this situation.
