DAC7552: Relative accuracy and output range

Part Number: DAC7552

Hello team,

I am wondering what is Relative accuracy. Is this INL?

Also this device can output 0V to VA, because of rail to rail amp. But at very close to 0V, there might be distortion.
What would be the minimum output range, with linear ouput (no distortion)?

  • Hi Kei,

You are correct, it is INL. TI used to use the term "relative accuracy" for INL.

The output range is determined by the VREFA and VREFB inputs. According to the datasheet, they can range from 0V to VDD, giving a wide variety of possible output ranges.

    Thanks,
    Erin
