DAC80504: Maximum Output Voltage of DAC80504 with Vcc - 3.3V

Hello ,

What would be the maximum output voltage range of DAC if VCC is 3.3V , as Vref is 2.5V and if we select a Gain of 2 , can we expect Vout to range from 0 to 5V.

Hi Asha,

The maximum output range of the DAC is dependent on the VCC/VDD voltage. So, if you apply 3.3V to VDD, the maximum output range will be 0V - 3.3V. To get 5V output, you will need to apply at least 5V to the VDD input.
