Good day.

I’ve been trying to drive TX7316EVM with GUI software, but it does not work well.

I used "Quick Setup” in 3-level mode. The 1-kHz sync signal was successfully observed. But 4-MHz or 5-MHz pulses were not observed.

I applied ±5 V and ±10 V to J3 and J1, respectively.

I checked trobleshootings described in the manual.

I could not understand reconfiguration of EVM to 3-level mode shown in Table 1.

Thus, I did not change anything on the board.

Is this a reason of the problem?

If so, do I have to buy extra components shown in “components to be added”?

Please let me know if the above solution is viable or problematic.

Hi,

To configure the device in 3-level or 5-level mode, there is an external pin called LVL_3Z_5, which has to be set properly. Could you check if the pin is connected to ground on the board before opening the GUI in 3-level mode?
