Hello,

I recently purchased the DAC161S997EVM to evaluate its performance for my project. However, I am facing issues with the GUI software provided for this evaluation module.

When I attempt to launch the setup, I encounter this error that prevents me from proceeding.

Hi,

Did you unzip the installation folder?

Can you also try running the setup.exe as an Admin?

The setup was an .exe file.

Yes, I have tried running it as an Admin as well but got the same error.

Hi,

To verify, you have tried completely uninstalling any GUI files and redownloading/installing the GUI?

I haven't seen this issue on any of my PCs, but I will see if I can recreate it.

I have the same problem. Running Windows 11.

I tried uninstall many times and installing different version of the labview runtime as mentioned in the readme files. Get the same error each time no matter what I do.

Hi Kare,

We have verified that the GUI can download and open on Windows 11.

I would make sure you extract the GUI folder, launch the setup as an Admin, and do not have the EVM plugged in during the installation.
