ADS8363: Noise Specification for REFIO output

Hi,

I am looking to use the ADS8363 REFIO output as an excitation source (with an external buffer to increase output current) for a strain gauge sensor in a bridge. I am looking to make an accurate noise simulation of the excitation source, but I can't find an output noise specification for the ADS8363 REFIO output.

Hello Alex,

The internal reference of the ADS8363 is expected to have ~4uVRMS of noise, unfortunately I do not have a value of the added noise. What range of noise would be acceptable for your excitation source?

There is also an ADS8363 Evaluation Module available as well if you would be interested in testing it out.

Thanks for the response, ~4 uVRMS is perfectly fine. I have a ADS8354EVM which looks pretty similar and I measured it around ~5 uVRMS so everything checks out.
